Since February, the Kiron Campus has undergone important maintenance work. We are happy to announce that it is now open to verifying new learners!
As there are some changes to the verification process, please read this important information:
The campus is an online learning platform accessible worldwide. It offers free online courses and access to the Kiron programs, such as mentoring and professional webinars. At the moment, registering on the Kiron Campus is very simple. You only need an email address, which already gives you access to some of our courses, such as Basic Digital Skills or How to learn a language. This will remain the same. You can also subscribe to our newsletter to get updates about future offers.
Meanwhile, certain offers, including Coursera for Refugees and mentoring programs, have limited spots, which requires us to verify learners’ legal status. Therefore, we need to check your document to confirm you are a seeker or beneficiary of international protection (e.g., refugee or asylum seeker) to grant you access to those programs. From now on, we will only be able to verify learners who fall into those categories, as well as learners located where Kiron has active operations. At the moment these countries include Jordan, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Syria, and Ukraine.
We know many people who are not refugees or asylum seekers also need support to access education, and we are sorry we cannot help you further at the moment. We will continue to evaluate the situation and our capacity to expand our offers.
If you are already a verified learner on the Kiron Campus, this will not affect your access, as long as you keep actively learning.
