We are happy to announce that the next verification round for accessing the Coursera for Refugees program opens on the 23rd of June. (More info about new verification system here: https://support.kiron.ngo/hc/en-us/articles/18548485011356-Upcoming-verification-round-for-Kiron-s-Coursera-program)
If you are eligible, you will be able to register on the Kiron Campus and upload your legal documents proving your eligibility to your profile.
- There are 1000 spots available for learners with documents indicating that they are seeking international protection outside their country of birth (eg. refugees and asylum seekers).
- Please note: The additional 700 spots for nationals and residents of Somalia have already been filled. This was a one-time offer. We will include a new country (or region) in the next verification rounds.
- Please note that verification happens on a first-come-first-serve basis and as soon as the available spots fill up, you will not be able to upload your documents anymore.
What If I Apply Too Late or Am Not Eligible?
You can still register on the Kiron Campus and access Kiron’s courses, events, and webinars.
However, you will not be able to join our Coursera Program for free.
If you are not eligible this time, please do not email us your documents. We cannot process applications via email or make exceptions to the verification rules.
Remember to check our newsletter and our Help Center for the next verification opening date and eligibility criteria.
