In 2025, Kiron is introducing a new system of periodic verifications, which means that new eligible learners are welcome to submit their documents at specific times throughout the year. This change is necessary to accommodate the high demand for our Coursera Program and the limited number of spots available.
Read the information below carefully to learn more about the new system.
How does the new verification system work?
- New eligible learners will be able to upload their documents four times a year. The next opportunity opens in June 2025 - more info about the exact date will be posted here soon.
- Spaces are limited every verification round, and registration closes once we reach capacity (on a first-come-first-serve basis).
- New learners won’t be able to submit their documents outside the specific times.
- If you were asked to reupload your documents or update your information in the previous verification round and missed the change to do it on time, you can do that during the next verification round
Who is eligible for verification?
- Anyone over 18 years old with a valid document proving they have been granted or are seeking international protection outside their country of birth has the opportunity to apply. (More info about eligibility and which documents we accept here.)
- In addition to the above-mentioned group, a number of spots will be available in each verification round for learners from and residing in one specific country based on Kiron’s activities and global circumstances. The selected country(ies) will be revisited every application round, and potential eligible learners will be informed in advance via email.
