What are MOOCs?

Many programs on the Kiron campus are based on Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) from excellent universities all over the world. Kiron puts the courses together into modules, which are similar to a university course, and skill booster programs which are usually career oriented. For example, below you see the MOOCs that make up the module Introduction to Political Science: 

When you take this kind of course, you are not on the Kiron platform anymore, but on the platform of an external provider such as Coursera, Iversity, etc. This is also why you have to register on the different platforms where you are taking your courses.
