Kiron is a free online learning platform available worldwide to refugees, asylum seekers, internally displaced persons, and in few cases, other people facing barriers to education.
In order to use the Kiron platform, we ask that you upload a document that shows your status, or the barriers you face to higher education. While other people have to pay for their online courses, Kiron students can access hundreds of online courses for free. Our partnerships with learning platforms and grants require that Kiron verifies our students’ legal status.
The document is used for verification purposes only and is stored securely on Kiron's private servers. It is seen by only Kiron support staff, is never shared with our partners or other third parties. At any point, you can ask for your private information to be deleted.
Please note that we are unable to process the verification of your document via e-mail!
You need to upload your document directly to your profile on the Kiron campus. Please allow up to two weeks to have your document verified.
Please make sure when uploading a document that the information in your Kiron profile and your official document are the same and that you spell your full name correctly.
